“Expanding the definition of the incretin axis”, Jonathan Campbell, PhD – Assistant Professor of Medicine, Assistant Research Professor of Pharmacology and Cancer Biology, and Member of the Duke Molecular Physiology Institute at Duke University
- Dr. Campbell’s research focuses on the control of glucose and energy metabolism by gut-derived peptides such as glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1). He also aims to understand how gut hormones regulate energy metabolism, particularly in the context of bariatric surgery.
